Therapy Thoughts: Worry will not win

Worry going round and around

Thoughts splitting and scattering

Work is going nowhere

Not listening to all the nattering?

Anchor yourself on your breath

Slowly in and slowly out

Just count from one to ten.

Then start gently all over again.

One to ten

Start again.

Breathe in slow

Let anxiety go.

Feel the flow of energy enter

Let despair leave you now.

Time to get up, go out, have a break.

Your pace of work will start to flow

Allow yourself time to clear your mind.

Worry will be viewed in a new way

See it as a challenge that you will win

Gently return to manage each day

You are in control

Worry will give in.
